Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart for making our 1st Ed Laverty Legacy Sports Fund Skills Event a huge success! From the coaches, volunteers, sponsors and of course the parents who registered all of the awesome kids we couldn’t have done it without you!
 
Carrying on my father’s legacy means everything to our family and if we can raise funds to help make a difference in the life of a “Youth in Sport”  we couldn’t think of a better way to carry on his legacy of community, sport and a great ‘football family”.
 
We look forward to organizing our next event!

Raising funds for “Youth In Sport” with a fun day of FOOTBALL SKILLS, DRILLS & MINI-TOURNAMENT!

Whether you are new to the game or not, please come and join us for a fun-filled day of football, food, and music, as we look to teach your child some fundamental skills. Each of our 6 skill stations will be run by former pro and amateur athletes who will be on hand to help guide your child and teach them the necessary skills needed to play the game. After the skills have been taught, they will have the opportunity to show them off during the organized mini-tournament!!

The Laverty Hall family were truly honoured to present the first official cheque from the Ed Laverty Legacy Sports Fund to the Hunt Club Riverside Community Centre a $2,000 donation toward new sports equipment and the launch of a youth touch football program at the centre.
